Elizabeth (Lizza) Miller, Ph.D., CEO & Co-founder
Miller pioneered web-based research in the mid 1990’s during her tenure at Stanford University and the University of Washington. She co-founded DatStat in response to a definitive market need for multi-mode, configurable, interoperable, enterprise research management software. Miller has led the company from start-up to market leader. Bringing two decades of scientific and practical research experience, Miller is charged with setting DatStat’s strategic direction and vision.
Miller holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington and two undergraduate degrees from Boston College.
George Dittmeier, Chief Technology Officer & Cofounder
Dittmeier brings a foundation of more than 20 years enterprise software engineering and product development leadership to shape DatStat’s technology roadmap. Dittmeier’s vision insures DatStat’s products are innovative, leading edge, and addressing the needs of our customers.
Previously, he held a variety of leadership positions at Oracle Corporation, ultimately driving the visualization of data through graphic representation and enterprise application interface development. A key team member in the prestigious Tools Division at Oracle, Dittmeier managed Oracle Graphics including the System Service Layer and the Virtual Graphics System. At NetGravity Inc., the first provider of enterprise-level Internet advertising tools, Dittmeier led the development of various web-based user interfaces, incorporating rapidly emerging Internet technologies. During his tenure, NetGravity was acquired by DoubleClick Inc.
Dittmeier earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
David Proestos, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, David has more than 20 years of experience in high growth software companies at the senior executive level. David’s primary role at DatStat is to help the development of the companies’ Sales, Marketing and Research Services organizations to promote growth through a strong customer focused culture. Previously, David served as President at eWork, Inc, a leader in the strategic sourcing industry and as President and CEO at Prosavvy, the leader in e-procurement, in Denver, CO. Prior to his role at Prosavvy/eWork, David was the Founder and President of Quantum Knowledge, a business consulting group in Denver Colorado. David also served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Law Cypress Corporation, a software and services company specializing in process automation and enterprise content management (ECM) technology. David has served in various related positions at Image Matrix Corporation, FileNet and Wang Laboratories. Throughout his career, David has worked with clients in a range of industries, including pharmaceutical, banking and finance, insurance, manufacturing and healthcare.
David holds a master's in business administration with specializations in finance and strategy from the University of Colorado at Denver; and a bachelor's degree in market management from Western State College.
Christopher Maconi , Vice President of Engineering
Christopher Maconi brings over a decade of software development and leadership experience to DatStat and he is responsible for managing the company’s software product development organization. Christopher specializes in enterprise class web and mobile “Software as a Service” (SaaS) delivered products, and has been successful in guiding high performance in-house and offshore teams, using short cycle development practices.
Christopher most recently serviced as Chief Technology Officer for Wingman Mobile, where he was responsible for all aspects of product design and development for the company’s field service management product.
Prior to Wingman Mobile, Christopher served as Chief Technology Officer and VP of Product Development at Electronic Evidence Discovery (EED), where he was responsible for product design and development of their industry leading electronic discovery technology platform and enterprise software offering. Christopher was instrumental in scaling and leading the software organization through a period of substantial growth, leading up to the company’s sale to a prominent private equity firm.
Prior to joining EED, Christopher was involved in various software development lifecycle activities with several Internet startups, as well as with IBM Global Services. Christopher is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Management Information Systems (MIS).
