Elizabeth (Lizza) Miller, Ph.D., CEO & Co-founder
Lizza pioneered web-based research in the mid 1990’s during her tenure at Stanford University and the University of Washington. She co-founded DatStat in response to a definitive market need for multi-mode, configurable, interoperable, enterprise research management software. Lizza has led the company from start-up to market leader. Bringing two decades of scientific and practical research experience, Lizza is charged with setting DatStat’s strategic direction and vision.
Lizza holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington and two undergraduate degrees from Boston College.
George Dittmeier, Chief Technology Officer & Cofounder
George brings a foundation of more than 20 years enterprise software engineering and product development leadership to shape DatStat’s technology roadmap. George’s vision insures DatStat’s products are innovative, leading edge, and addressing the needs of our customers.
Previously, he held a variety of leadership positions at Oracle Corporation, ultimately driving the visualization of data through graphic representation and enterprise application interface development. A key team member in the prestigious Tools Division at Oracle, Geroge managed Oracle Graphics including the System Service Layer and the Virtual Graphics System. At NetGravity Inc., the first provider of enterprise-level Internet advertising tools, Dittmeier led the development of various web-based user interfaces, incorporating rapidly emerging Internet technologies. During his tenure, NetGravity was acquired by DoubleClick Inc.
George earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Christopher Maconi , Vice President of Engineering
Christopher Maconi brings over a decade of software development and leadership experience to DatStat and he is responsible for managing the company’s software product development organization. Christopher specializes in enterprise class web and mobile “Software as a Service” (SaaS) delivered products, and has been successful in guiding high performance in-house and offshore teams, using short cycle development practices.
Christopher most recently serviced as Chief Technology Officer for Wingman Mobile, where he was responsible for all aspects of product design and development for the company’s field service management product.
Prior to Wingman Mobile, Christopher served as Chief Technology Officer and VP of Product Development at Electronic Evidence Discovery (EED), where he was responsible for product design and development of their industry leading electronic discovery technology platform and enterprise software offering. Christopher was instrumental in scaling and leading the software organization through a period of substantial growth, leading up to the company’s sale to a prominent private equity firm.
Prior to joining EED, Christopher was involved in various software development lifecycle activities with several Internet startups, as well as with IBM Global Services. Christopher is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Management Information Systems (MIS).
Renee Shatos Petrie, Sr. Director for Healthcare Solutions
Renee brings over 25 years of research and technology experience and a diverse background in health and behavioral sciences. Renee joined DatStat in 2007 after nearly 20 years working in leadership positions at top university-based research centers. Most recently, Renee served as Assistant Director and Director of Data Operations at the Social Development Research Group (SDRG) at the University of Washington. Under her tenure, SDRG developed industry leading capabilities for managing complex research protocols and maximizing response in longitudinal, randomized controlled trials.
Renee is responsible for creating and executing DatStat’s Healthcare Solutions strategies and partner development. She takes a personal role in working with many of DatStat’s leading healthcare accounts to ensure they achieve maximum success in reaching their goals as they apply DatStat’s technology across diverse areas of the healthcare enterprise, including research, health delivery, marketing and IT interoperability.
Judd Watts, Director Business Development
Judd brings more than 30 years of Business Development contributions to DatStat’s Market Research and Corporate clients. He has extensive and valuable experience supporting his clients with their enterprise application solutions and services. Judd’s business background provides our clients with the insights to discover the bottom line impact on their operations as they streamline processes and help make sound decisions based on the fact-based feedback from their customers.
Prior to joining DatStat, Judd was Director and Vice President of Business Development for eWork, and ProCard, Inc. where he helped drive significant growth. Judd earned his BA and MBA in Management, Accounting and Marketing from the University of Puget Sound.
Sara Heskett, Ph.D., Manager, Solutions Consulting Group
Dr. Sara Heskett comes to DatStat with over twenty years of research experience across a wide range of research areas. She has extensive experience with quantitative and qualitative research, study design, survey development, statistical analysis, report writing, and strategic planning. Utilizing her abilities in clinical research, analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, organization, and verbal and written communication, she has consulted for numerous academic institutions and organizations.
Sara received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington in 2002. She has published numerous articles and book chapters, and has delivered dozens of presentations at research conferences around the world. Sara oversees the Solutions Consulting Group, which provides DatStat customers with consultation, implementation, and custom development services for any or all stages of a data collection or research effort.
