IT Manager

IT Manager

As an Information Technology (IT) Manager, you play a key role in working with other DatStat operational areas in designing and maintaining the companies corporate and hosting infrastructure.  Additionally, you will work with DatStat engineering in defining the operational protocol and systems required in deploying and maintaining our current and next generation platforms using DatStat infrastructure and/or third party cloud infrastructure.  Our platform will have you working with cutting edge web and cloud technologies, and you will play a key role as we revolutionize health research and healthcare delivery.  You will need to be a self-starter who can operate in both a team and self-directed contexts.  You will have a passion for delivering high quality web experiences, and care deeply about our customers.  This position requires healthy doses of initiative and flexibility in a very dynamic environment.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:
  • 4 year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience managing a Microsoft hosting environment (MS Windows Server, MS IIS, MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, etc.) and managing a Microsoft corporate environment (MS Windows desktop OS)
  • Strong customer success orientation, with a drive and proven ability to finding win-win scenarios.
  • Strong, demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate, including experience directly managing team personnel.
  • Ability to be a technical strategic thought leader as well as a “hands on” implementer.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows networking topography including Domain Controllers, Active Directory and DNS. Exchange Server experience helpful.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Design, Implementation, and Administration Experience
  • Experience or desire to learn and manage server hardware including diagnostics and basic repair and maintenance

  • Manage DatStat’s hosting infrastructure, including network, server, and storage devices inside Seattle based data center co-location facility
  • Manage DatStat’s corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, laptops / desktops and other devices found within the enterprise (including MS Exchange, SCCM, etc.)
  • Develop and execute routine maintenance plan and targeted automation in support of DatStat’s hosting infrastructure
  • Design and develop best-practices for hosting of DatStat’s enterprise software products in the DatStat cloud, including evaluation of future infrastructure scenarios based on forward looking strategic objectives
  • Maintain organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
  • Collaborate with DatStat executive stakeholders in assessing business risks and opportunities, providing advisory strategic and tactical perspective on infrastructure decisions
  • Verify application uptime, execution and performance by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information security, and control structures
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards, maintain knowledge of regulations and policies related to DatStat’s business (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, etc.) and participate as a key stakeholder in DatStat regulatory compliance processes
  • Travel to customer locations to support on-prem installations, troubleshooting, and other customer enablement activities
  • Field questions and requests from DatStat employees regarding laptop/desktop hardware and software.
  • Contribute to development of a multi-year IT roadmap and strategic planning activities including budgeting and forecasting
  • Effectively lead team to include talent acquisition, performance management, mentoring, professional development and continuous feedback
Sales Account Executive

Sales Account Executive

DatStat is looking for a highly organized, motivated, and technically savvy sales representative who is interested in driving their sales career in the rapidly growing Health Research and Health IT realm. As a Sales Account Executive (SAE), you will help leading researchers and healthcare institutions transform their health research and patient engagement through better technology. You will recommend solutions built on DatStat’s Data Collection & Insight Platform, exceed sales objectives, and develop sales territories. Key performance indicators are sales results, client satisfaction, and territory growth. As your abilities grow, so will your career opportunities!

As an ideal candidate, you will have:
  • 3-5 years B2B sales experience with enterprise software solutions.

You will play a key role working with leading researchers and top healthcare institutions to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and present DatStat as the solution for building stronger research and patient engagement.

Technical Solutions Consultant

Technical Solutions Consultant

We are looking for a motivated Technical Solutions Consultant to be responsible for the successful presales, implementation and post implementation work for current and future DatStat customers. Reporting to the Director of Solutions Consulting Group (SCG), this position is essential to delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction through creating product demos, technical implementation, mentoring and coaching, as well as acting as a customer advocate to resolve issues, and to improve process and the application.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Informatics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A strong passion for technology and knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology.
  • Previous experience creating delightful demos or prototypes.
  • Programming experience (both compiled and scripting) and knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and strong attention to detail required.
  • Passion for travelling and meeting customers face to face; ability to travel up 50% domestically with occasional international travel.
  • Experience and willingness to be on call rotation.
  • Previous experience in healthcare/health research industry (preferred).

  • Responsible for developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks and effectively coordinate related activities.
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of fielding status for multiple projects.
  • Work with internal resources to determine timelines and costs and develop and implement appropriate cost metrics.
  • Communicate internally regarding status of specific tasks and projects.
  • Work on multiple projects, from simple to highly complex in nature.
