Administrator
This role is designed for DatStat Illume system maintenance—administrators can add/delete members, modify member privileges, delete surveys and data.

Power User
The power user has the most privileges and can perform just about anything related to the survey process including repository management, survey design + publish, email + participant management, and all reporting-related functions.

Publisher
Designed for workflow-oriented organizations, the publisher role enables you to designate an approver in your organization. Publishers can design, check in/out, and approve and publish all surveys.

Designer
For design and development of surveys, designers can access survey templates and the object repository to leverage approved questions and streamline the survey design process. Check-in surveys for the Publisher to approve and publish.

Designer-Analyst
Combining the privileges of designer and analyst, the designer analyst can create surveys and check them in, then analyze the results real-time through the web console.

Analyst
For reporting purposes only, the analyst role has access to the web console and can query + download data and share queries with others.

Power Analyst
Based on the analyst role, the power analyst can perform all the reporting functions in the web console including creating cross-survey views.

Participant Manager
Through web console access, the participant manager can edit and upload participant lists. This role has no interaction with surveys or reporting.

Email Manager
Designed to offer control over the communication process, the email manager creates and initiates email jobs, including email content and customization through the web console. This role has no interaction with surveys or reporting.

Viewer
Great for project sponsors or executives, this role is ideal for those who need to see results but not participate in the survey management process. Viewers can see shared queries and export results.
