How
can I manage respondent access to my assessments?
With respondent authentication management, you determine
whether you want your survey authenticated or un-authenticated;
authentication can be accomplished by appending preloaded
data in a unique survey URL, assigning a unique access
code, or asking the respondent to enter pre-known data.
This offers flexible respondent authentication capabilities
including methods to insure single responses, survey
completion, and individual analysis over time which
translates to better data integrity.

I control who can and can’t publish surveys with
DatStat Illume?
Yes. With the multiple role types, you can set which
users can publish surveys. Survey designers without
publish access can check surveys in while publishers
can view checked-in surveys and publish appropriately.

Does
DatStat Illume offer panel management capabilities?
DatStat’s participant management allows import/export
of participant lists, including defining custom fields
and uploading preloaded respondent data. Data management
and reporting allow you to slice and dice the data.

databases for seamless participant management.

Can
I perform onsite interviews with individual respondents
if I have no access to the Internet?
Yes. There are a number of options available to researchers
when Internet accessibility is minimal. One option
is to use a laptop with a wireless card through your
mobile carrier to obtain an Internet connection. This
method has been used successfully by DatStat customers.
Another option is to collect data in a multi-method
format with data gathered on paper when the internet
is not available. These data can then be entered
into the Illume survey, still benefiting from Illume’s
real-time validations and data checking capabilities. A
code for “paper entry” can be inserted into
the database to allow for comparisons between methods.

Can
I do data entry, or double data entry?
Yes. Sometimes it is just not possible to collect all
of your data via the Internet. In those circumstances,
DatStat Illume can serve as a data entry mechanism. Advantages
include real-time validations to ensure data are of
the correct type and format, and immediate access to
the data via the Web Console. In addition, Illume can
be configured for double data entry, such that inconsistencies
between entries are flagged for correction.

Can I publish reports to non-DatStat Illume users?
Yes. The DatStat Extranet offers customers a cost-effective way to securely share
project-related reports with an unlimited number of administrator-approved project
stakeholders. DatStat Illume users can set up reports to automatically run over
time which removes the hassles associated with creating manual reports over and
over. This increased flexibility encourages results sharing and increases
productivity while maintaining data security.

Through Illume’s open API, the SDK allows you
to easily integrate DatStat Illume into your existing
data infrastructure and create additional customization.
The SDK exposes a number of areas of the application

Yes. DatStat eases the cost and process for future upgrades
with the Annual Upgrade Assurance (AUA) plan.
This annual fee is part of the DatStat Support offering
