Introducing DatStat Illume 4.5, More Integrated Data Collection and Efficient Process Control

Increased multi-mode research support through new plug-ins
Remote Data Collection: This plug-in allows interviewers to take Illume on the road without the Internet. By simply “syncing-up,” collected data is uploaded to the Illume server while automatic survey and participant list updates are updated on the interviewer’s computer.
Survey Data Import: Import previously collected survey data into Illume to expand reporting with cross-survey and cross-tabulation analysis. Get the big picture in Illume, regardless of how and when the data were collected.

More control over the research process
Question Design Improvements: DatStat Illume 4.5 helps researchers have more control through mutual exclusivity with check boxes for cleaner data collection and system “auto-answer” for a better respondent experience
New Tools for Sophisticated Research: Step up the research process with custom end-page redirects based on real-time responses, cookies to prevent anonymous participants from ballot stuffing, and new “reverse” scale for random response option displays with semantic differential-type questions.
Streamlined Programming Tools: A new CSS Tab enables easier advanced programmer’s customization, allowing seamless additions of cascading style sheets (CSS) and custom JavaScript from within the Designer. While SDK Web service and runtime enhancements allow programmers to more easily add rich custom features through simplified access to almost all participant and survey data.
Additional web-based management capabilities: With survey delete and un-submit administrators can now remove data from “cheaters and speeders” or un-submit a survey to let participants restart. Also, analysts can save time by creating chart themes and simply applying them to reports, no more recreating the wheel!
